Crime Stoppers needs your help to catch a thief. Sometime between March 9th and March 23rd two outboard boat motors were stolen from the Cypress Landing boat storage lots off of Old Blounts Creek Road in Chocowinity. The thief gained entry into the storage lots by cutting a hole in the chain link fence. Once inside the 60 HP Johnson and 60 HP Yamaha motors were unbolted from the boats. Crime Stoppers needs your help to capture a thief. Sometime during the daylight hours of Monday, April 16th a suspect forcibly entered a residence and storage shed on Possum Track Road near Highway 17 in Chocowinity. The suspect stole a large amount of jewelry and coins and some fishing gear. A Karcher pressure washer was also stolen from the victim’s shed. She is wanted by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office for failing to appear in court on more than 20 counts of Simple Worthless Check and Resisting an Officer.
