July 28, 2010 This week Crime Stoppers needs your help to locate the suspects responsible for a Breaking and Entering, and Damage to Property at the Washington Yacht and Country Club. During the early morning hours of Sunday July 18th, unknown suspects broke into a building used to house golf carts at the Country Club. The suspects drove the golf carts onto the golf course causing damage to the carts, several greens, and a residential property in Country Club Estates. If you have any information regarding this crime please call Crime Stoppers at 974-6400. Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000.00 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. July 23, 2010 This week Crime Stoppers needs your help to solve a set of vehicle break-ins. On Saturday July 17th sometime after 10:00 pm a suspect broke into several vehicles along Highway 264 east of Belhaven. An undisclosed amount of change and a JVC Camcorder were stolen. This week Crime Stoppers needs your help to catch a thief. Sometime during the last week of April or the first week of May a suspect stole the lower unit of a Honda 4-stroke 115 HP boat motor. The unit was taken from the back of a Bennington Pontoon boat. The boat was housed on a boat lift on Blounts Creek near Cotton Patch Landing. Thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip Gregory Spruill of Washington was arrested for Possession of Cocaine and Drug Paraphernalia. This week Crime Stoppers needs your help to catch a thief. On June 30th, thieves entered a shed off Hwy 32 North in Pinetown, and stole a 2008 red and black 450 Hyosung four-wheeler. On Monday June 28th around 3:00 am, an unknown white male suspect broke into the drink machines at Quality Gas House on John Small Avenue in Washington. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
