On Friday, May 5th, the Chocowinity Police Department responded to a report of a break-in that occurred on Adams Street in Chocowinity. The suspect stole a wood grain Acoustic Guitar autographed by Willie Nelson. The guitar was in a glass display box and is valued at $3,500.00. On Sunday, May 14th, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a break-in that occurred on Haw Brach Church Road at the Hematoma Paintball Club. The suspect stole 8 Custom Paintball guns and a white Pure Energy nitrogen tank. The property was valued at approximately $1,800.00. On Monday, May 22nd at approximately 9:15 p.m. two white males entered the Travel Store on River Road in Washington and demanded money. The suspects were armed with a kitchen knife and dressed in dark clothing with black ski masks covering their faces.
