Crime Stoppers needs your help to capture an arsonist. On Saturday, October 6th at approximately 9:00p.m., a 1975 Luhrs Sport Fish Fiberglass boat was stolen from a boat dock located on the Loop Road in Pamlico Beach. The boat was taken out into Wrights Creek, tied to a Channel marker and then it was set on fire. If you have any information about this crime, please call Crime Stoppers at 974-6400. Crime Stoppers and the Washington Police Department need your help to capture two arsonists. On Tuesday, October 16th at 11:30 p.m. two white males were seen jumping from the roof of the Shop -N-Go located at 1000 Park Drive in Washington. A fire erupted as the suspects ran from the building. The fire caused approximately $10,000.00 in damage. If you have any information about this crime, please call Crime Stoppers at 974-6400. ATV thefts are becoming increasingly common in eastern North Carolina. This week Crime Stoppers needs your help to solve one of these crimes. Sometime around Thursday, October 25th a yellow 2003 Polaris Trailblazer was stolen from a home on the Delia Wallace Road near Bath. The suspect took the ATV from the victim’s yard. Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000.00 reward for information leading to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property in this case. The victim in this case is offering an additional $500.00 reward.
