On Monday, August 20th at about 5:30 in the afternoon two men armed with a handgun entered the Happy Tan Salon on John Small Avenue and demanded money. Both men were described as thin black males with close hair cuts. One suspect wore a hat and a green shirt. The other had a mustache and was wearing a red and blue jersey. Sometime during the evening hours of Saturday, September 8th, an unknown person forcibly entered a residence on the Frederick Road in Chocowinity. Once inside the suspect stole a 22 caliber rifle, a 20 gauge shotgun, two ladies gold watches and several gold bracelets, rings and necklaces. On three separate occasions an unknown person damaged a burgundy Chrysler Town & Country located in the parking lot of Washington High School. The vehicle has been damaged twice in the teacher parking lot and once while parked in the school bus parking lot.
