On Thursday, September 30th at 7:30 am duck hunters located the body of Earl Grimes Jr. near a pond off of the Gray Road in Edward. Grimes lived on Highway 33 East in Edward and was last seen by family members on Tuesday of this week. He was 21 years old. Investigators believe that Grimes suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Anyone who has seen Earl Grimes Jr. since Monday, September 27th 2004 or has other information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 974-6400.
